Project Description:
I created these posters for a poster design course, and was required to create and event Triptych as well as a social issue awareness poster.
This triptych was based on Snoop Dogg's release of Leafs By Snoop and his upcoming release of pipes; Pounds By Snoop. I created this made-up event, shot still lives of different smoking materials, and composited the images in a way that elegantly broadcasted this event.
This poster design was based on the ongoing social issue in America of police brutality. Using primarily type, I wanted to create emphasis on a specific police brutality case. I used a certain phrase repeated to create the silhouette of a person, which can also exemplify the various lives that have been taken due to police brutality.
